mod 16.      Tongue mounted bike rack

A small weld job makes use of my existing Grabber Bike carrier. A steel tubular receiver was welded to a steel plate which was then bolted to the trailer frame. It sits between the spare and the tongue box. The front bike wheel needs to be removed because of interfering with the trailer spare tire. The carrier is quickly removed when not trailering and can then be used directly on the tow vehicle for day excursions.

Cost for the steel, 4 bolts and the weld job, approx. $100 (Carrier not included)
